Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. (TCEC) seeks a strong, effective, and experienced leader for the position of General Manager located at the Cooperative headquarters in Azle, Texas.
TCEC is a non-profit electric cooperative that maintains a service territory within 16 counties, more than 8,500 miles of distribution lines, approximately 83,400 members, and over 105,000 meters in North and West Central Texas. TCEC has approximately 140 dedicated employees who serve across 4 district offices. The General Manager is responsible for the daily management of the cooperative and reports directly to an eight-member elected Board of Directors.
Applicants should have considerable experience in utility supervision and management. The Board of Directors seeks applicants with broad experience in areas including strategic planning, finance, operations, member communications, and board relations. The successful applicant will be a proven leader and professional with excellent communication skills.
